In Japanese Suki means 'like' or 'love'
Suki loves to paint and draw. She has a secret dream to live on Montmartre in Paris, France and sell her works on the street while drinking her cafe au lete and eating foi gras whenever possible. (It could happen!)
Suki Lopez is a Cuban-American Actress born and raised in Miami, Florida. She began her career as a child, appearing in international commercials for companies like Chevy and Sony. Lopez trained as a classical ballet dancer for many years, participating in prestigious summer programs with American Ballet Theatre and Joffrey Ballet before deciding to pursue training in Musical Theatre at CAP21. After graduating, she signed with her agent and booked her first job with Disney Cruise Line, where she appeared as "Nicole in Wishes, "Belle" in Believe, as well as understudying the role of "Jasmine" in Aladdin, and many more. Shortly after she performed regionally in the ensemble of Singing' In The Rain at Merry-Go Round Playhouse and In 2014-2015 Lopez performed the role of "Consuela" on the National Tour of West Side Story while understudying the role of "Anita". Most recently Lopez has been working in New York, work-shopping a new play with The Wild Root Company and Designing logos for small businesses, while pursuing a degree at The New School. She is ecstatic to be joining the cast of Sesame Street for Season 46!
